I can't activate Alibre Design - could my firewall software be preventing connection?

Alibre Design needs to connect to the licensing server at software launch to allow activation to occur.  For initial activation this connection is essential, thereafter the software will operate for up to 30days without internet connection.  An attempt is made to connect to the licensing server at every launch.

If you have security software or a firewall installed which is preventing connection, you should add the following URL to the outgoing connection whitelist


The initial star encompasses all possible prefixes.   Ports 80  and 443   (HTTP & HTTPS) should be opened for this address.
