Step 5: Prepare XML files

In order to bypass Alibre's regular licensing, a folder is searched for the existence of an XML file. If it exists, the license mechanism assumes a network license is being installed.

  1. You will need to create an XML file for each user. The XML file should be named:
laninfo.xml . A sample XML file can be found here.

  2. The contents of the XML file will be the following:
<DaemonIP></DaemonIP>      <-- change this to your server's IP address
<DaemonPort>16700</DaemonPort>         <-- leave this unless you modified the Port in the Admin
<DaemonUser>user1</DaemonUser>         <-- change this to a user you created
<DaemonPass>user1pass</DaemonPass>  <-- change this to a user you created

  3. After you have created an XML file for each user, you can proceed to the final step.
