Assembly Features

Some designs may require the assembling of parts before creating a feature that will modify some or all parts of an assembly. Assembly Features allow the creation of extruded cuts or holes where multiple parts can be selected and modified at the assembly level only. The individual instances within the assembly can be selected to fine-tune the feature operation.

  • The Assembly Extrude Cut command is used to create cut extrusions through entire assemblies or through selected parts in an assembly.
  • The Assembly Hole command is used to create holes through entire assemblies or through selected parts in an assembly.
