Cannot launch Alibre Atom3D after extended trial expires.

Extended trials made available via selected partners are managed as 'subscription' licences.  These expire at the end of the trial period.  If you attempt to launch Alibre Atom 3D after expiry, you see a message telling you to contact Alibre or your Reseller - you should do so if you wish to purchase a licence.

If you are not ready to purchase a licence, but you need to view designs already created, you should proceed as follows;

  1.  Download and run the attached .bat file (after downloading and double clicking the file you will have to provide explicit permission for the file to run, Windows will block the file by default).  The .bat file deletes the folder containing local licence information for the current Windows user.
  2. Try to launch Atom3D - you will be prompted for your personal details.
  3. Choose the option to 'Start Trial' (this refers to a standard 30 day trial).  A message will advise that a trial has previously been registered, a 'Viewer' button then becomes available.  Click the button to launch Atom3D in Viewer mode.
  4. At future launches, options for Viewer, or Enter code (purchased licence) will be offered.
